With the youth of Sawla, many of which hold the dream of migrating to the big city or to Europe, we have developed over the years information sessions and discussions regarding the migratory process and what it may entail.
We offer information from personal experience about the difficulties of such a journey and upon arrival to Europe, so that the decision whether to travel is based on reliable and verified information. One of the objetives of these meetings is to accompany the implementation of local initiatives that improve the quality of life of the community – since this is what majorly constitutes a real alternative to migration.
We have also offered activities and workshops such as water purification, global warming, environmental health, waste management, book binding, and about reproductive health, among others.
Thanks to the donation of several motorbikes from Barcelona we are working on starting up a local transportation initiative.
