Glocal Migro-Environmental Tandem: the articulation of diverse reference figures for the socio-environmental transformation

We present here the video created thanks to the enthusiasm and work of young people, children from Ghana, El Salvador and Catalonia, within the framework of the project “of citizenship, with an anti-racist approach and a gender and human rights perspective, funded by the ACCD.”

During the 2024–2025 academic year, we worked with young people, children from educational centres such as INS Puigvert in Barcelona; the schools Nasoyiri JHS, Mankuma JHS, Jentilpe JHS, Gbongbondori JHS and Kpongri JHS in northern Ghana; and from the community of El Cerrito, as well as with the collectives ADESCOSAN, Micelo Suburbano, AFROOS, MURLENCA, SERES, NANTAL and Amigos for Christ in El Salvador.

This video shows the work that, in a similar yet different way—adapted to local realities—we carry out in three points far apart on the planet, seeking spaces to reconnect with the land and with the fruits and knowledge it provides.
